ørlǫg: The Moment Fate Stalled
“What shapes the course of humanity? A decision, a clock, or a dance?”

Intro
In 1974, I arrived in Prague to attend a modern SF Art exhibition. However, I found myself short on small change after forgetting to exchange my currency for koruna. When suddenly, a mysterious, beautiful girl came to my aid. By chance, we met again later that evening in a bar. She used me as an excuse to escape from someone, calling me her friend, and we ended up boarding a midnight train together.
During the journey, when she learned that I was a surrealist painter, she revealed that her family was responsible for overseeing the “Prague Astronomical Clock (orloj),” which determines the course of human evolution. But in truth, its function was damaged during the 1945 shelling, leaving humanity’s future uncertain.
She also mentioned that encounters between people are never truly random—they are the result of something arranged, perhaps by fate. She spoke of fate with a strange mix of familiarity and resistance.

Design Background
ørlǫg is a narrative-driven experience told from a third-party perspective, weaving the surreal and the profound into an unforgettable journey.
The story follows a celebrated modern SF artist, now hollowed by the weight of their success, as they encounter a mysterious girl on a quiet night. She introduces herself as the embodiment of Time and History. Every century, she chooses an artist to determine the future of humanity.
Guided by this enigmatic figure, the artist embarks on a dreamlike odyssey to wind the clock of history, making a choice that will define the fate of the world. The ritual culminates in an otherworldly dance of the Vitruvian figure—a symbolic performance tying art, humanity, and destiny into one.

Amazing art style!!
Wow, this game surprised me. Really love how the narrative was carried with the images and the art was amazing. The game was pretty cohesive which is so cool. I was a bit confused on the 2nd and 3rd puzzle. Do you have any other place where I can follow your art?
